Aspen Clinical Research is currently taking part in a clinical research study for children and adolescents ages 6 through 16 who have been diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome. In this study, researchers are evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational medication to see to see how well it can reduce motor and phonic tics associated with TS.
To pre-qualify for this study, participants must:
- Be 6 through 16 years of age.
- Have been diagnosed with Tourette’s
Your child’s first visit to the research clinic will be a screening visit. During this visit he/she will meet with a study coordinator to fully review study details. If he/she decides to participate, a more in-depth assessment of his/her health will take place to determine their final eligibility. If he/she is eligible and chooses to enroll, he/she will be required to return to our research clinic at various times for treatment and follow-up visits.
Space in the study is limited. Health insurance is not required. All clinical visits, medications, and physical exams are provided at no cost. Participants may receive compensation for time and travel. If a child is unable to complete the study for any reason, he/she will receive a compensation amount based on the number of visits he/she completes.
Please complete the form below to see if your child pre-qualifies for the study.
Disclaimer: Not all individuals that complete the online questionnaire will qualify for the study. An in-depth study and medical evaluation must be completed in person in order to qualify for the study.
